About me

I’m a backend engineer with over 9 years of commercial experience across Python, Django, Go, PostgreSQL, and distributed backend systems.

At CueGrowth, I redesigned a monolithic platform into microservices and built Django APIs, Go services, and AI tools for lead research and sales workflows. I also moved browser automation from a custom EC2 setup to Kubernetes-based Selenium Grid, with a controller written in Go.

One of my infrastructure projects was migrating MySQL RDS to self-hosted PostgreSQL. It cut database costs by about 45% and improved query performance by up to 30%.

I created free Python and Django coursework at Graey Education and taught more than 100 people. Many students went on to software engineering jobs. My AdaptedMap concept won first place at the GITA hackathon in 2021.

I contribute to open source too, including Georgian keyboard mappings for Vim, Django REST Framework type hints, and improvements to email and domain-data tools.
